Responsibilities
- Handling the processing and reconciliation of accounts payable and receivable
- Performing bank reconciliations and maintaining accurate customer credit records
- Responsible for managing and maintaining the general ledger
- Preparing and posting journal entries as required
- Assisting in the month end close process
- Experience working with large accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP
- Conducting research and analysis to manage and resolve customer credit inquiries
- Engaging in the 'janitorial clean-up' of the accounts receivable to ensure accuracy and efficiency
- Implementing process improvements where necessary within the scope of the role
- Undertaking any additional tasks related to construction accounting as needed.
