We are seeking a Property Administrator to join our team in INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana, in the government sector. This role involves the collection of property-related aspects for Real Estate residents and the administration of property leasing and rent requirements. Responsibilities:• Coordinating on the readiness status of properties for rent• Drafting and distributing lease documents for section 8 residents• Collecting and managing data on properties assisted under housing programs• Developing spreadsheet trackers for uploading into the HUD reporting system• Processing Requests for Tenancy Approval accurately and within set parameters• Applying appropriate rules regarding lease-up, tenant moves, unit leasing requirements, criteria for denial of owners, and processing procedures for portability• Collaborating with government agencies, community organizations, and property owners• Ensuring clients understand their rights and responsibilities as tenants• Investigating and resolving client and landlord issues• Reviewing legal documents including contracts and liens• Preparing and maintaining daily logs, records, activity documentation, and reports• Understanding and adhering to program rules and restrictions• Assisting with the closure of cases.
