Responsibilities
- Testing of raw materials and conducting stability tests
- Performing regulatory audits on raw batches when needed
- Performing weight audits and ensuring production lines are set up correctly
- Collecting beginning, middle, and end samples of each batch
- Verifying production quality i.e., torque, labels on jars/bottles, and code accuracy
- Analyzing all incoming raw materials and performing IR comparisons
- Ensuring all raw materials and components are marked, tagged, and labeled properly
- Checking all raw material Tanker trucks and incoming shipments for damages and verifying incoming inventory
- Maintaining Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and Certificate of Analysis (COA) for the production plants
- Auditing and documenting production line every hour, checking weights, labels, torque, seals, and codes
- Ensuring proper caps, closures, boxes, and labels are brought and staged in correct packaging lane
- Keeping an accurate inventory of all product and shipping labels.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Engineering, Manufacturing, or Quality Assurance.
- Minimum of two years' experience in a Quality Assurance or Quality Control role within a manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with Quality Control (QC) practices and procedures.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Proven ability to interpret and analyze technical data.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in the use of industry standard software and tools.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and learning new QA methodologies.
