The company is a family-owned real estate investment, development, and management firm located in Manhattan. They are looking for a paralegal who is energetic, multidimensional, flexible, and extremely well organized.
Schedule: In office 5 days a week.
Responsibilities:
Daily abstracting of new leases as they are signed by tenants including review of all information entered into the system.
Administrative duties – collecting rent and following up.
Review of all existing and new deferral agreements / abatement agreements entered.
Review of all Substantial Completion letters
Yearly preparation of select Residential Leases
Send all new insurance lawsuits to the Insurer and Property Manager
Payment of monthly fees for all Corporations and LLCs.

Requirements:
7-10 years of commercial real estate transactions paralegal experience
Bachelor's degree and a certificate in paralegal studies preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, expertise in Word, Excel
Ability to work independently, while maintaining a collaborative outlook
High sense of urgency and flexibility with changing schedules and priorities
Excellent attention to detail, organization, accuracy, and time management skills
Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal, and ability to communicate professionally and effectively with team members and external parties
Analytical, critical thinking and research skills
Confidentiality, and ability to exercise discretion and good judgement
