A Healthcare Organization is in the immediate need of a remote Risk Adjustment Medical Coder. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in Risk Adjustment Coding. This role requires proficient knowledge of medical terminology, disease processes, and expertise in ICD-10-CM and CPT coding classifications.
Responsibilities Include

• Evaluate medical records and assign appropriate clinical diagnosis and procedure codes in accordance with coding guidelines.
• Perform chart reviews for accuracy and coding compliance as per CMS Risk Adjustment guidelines.
• Interact with providers to facilitate documentation capture for accurate diagnostic coding.
• Participate in daily coding meetings for continued education and updates.
• Maintaining strict patient and physician confidentiality, and adhering to all HIPAA Regulations.
