The Global Salesforce Technical Architect oversees technical architecture, integration, security and tooling for all Retail Salesforce Solutions globally, spanning Marketing Cloud, Sales Cloud & Service Cloud. This position defines architecture standards & reuse patterns for Salesforce components and governs usage of patterns across all Retail Salesforce Solutions. Works with other business segments (Pro & FMCC) to align on cross-business segment Salesforce patterns.

What youll do:

Consult with Global Retail CRM PDO teams & Business Partners on current state Salesforce

implementations to guide & refine Salesforce Technical Architecture, Integrations, Security & Dev Tooling.

Create, socializes, and publish Salesforce Technical Architecture Standards & Reuse patterns that can be

used by Global Retail CRM Product teams to implement solutions faster, integrate with Enterprise Systems

and align to best practices.

Create & Implement process to Govern adoption of Salesforce Technical Architecture Standards &

Reuse patterns across Global Retail CRM Product.

Collaborate with and provide feedback to ITO, Cyber Security, OGC & Dev Enablement teams to ensure

Salesforce Technical Architecture Standards & reuse patterns are aligned with Enterprise Cloud & API

Strategy, Security & Privacy Policy and practical for PDO teams to adopt.

Collaborate with Ford Pro and FMCC to share, refine and strengthen Salesforce Technical

Architecture Standards & reuse patterns.

Collaborate with Ford Pro and FMCC to create and refine cross-business segment Salesforce Org Strategies.

Establish and operate Ford ET Salesforce Guild.

Continue to further develop technical specialization and expertise by:

o Sharing, consulting, and transferring critical & experiential technical expertise to others throughout Ford in

Guilds, as well as internal and external presentations.

o Deepening domain knowledge through consumption of external conferences, publications and courses.

The minimum requirements we seek

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related technical field required.

Certification as a Salesforce Certified Application Architect -OR- Salesforce Certified Systems Architect

Demonstrated progressive responsibilities in a Salesforce Technical Architecture Advisory and/or Delivery Role, for large, complex CRM transformations at Fortune 100 companies. Experience must span Marketing Cloud, Sales Cloud and Service Cloud Implementations on brownfield sites with significant integration complexity of legacy systems (both On-Premise and Cloud)

Our preferred requirements

Certification as a Salesforce Certified Technical Architect

Master's degree and/or MBA preferred

5 years Consulting Experience

Manufacturing Sector experience

Delivery and/or Architecture experience with Salesforce Data Cloud (aka Genie/CDP)

Google Cloud Platform Integration Experience (or other Cloud Data Platform) with Salesforce (CDP or Core)

Extensive Integration experience levering a variety of API Managers

Global Implementation experience and strong understanding of regional privacy policy (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)

Strong MarTech architecture advisory experience across a variety of technologies, including Adobe, Neustar
