Direct hire opening for a Senior Cyber Security Specialist to join a mid size casualty insurance company based in Fairfield, CA. This role will be 40% focused on IT control audits and 60% looking at the defensive tools and various cyber controls, creating logs for SIM, put together a results deck of an audit for C suite, perform IT Assessment, maybe facilitate a security training and perform other security ad hoc projects. This will be onsite 5 days with remote flexibility after 3-6 months.
-Pays up to 160k plus 7-15% bonus

Requirement:
-Minimum 5 yrs IT audit and security experience
-Hands on exp with cybersecurity defense tool, EDR such as Crowdstrike or SentinelOne
-certifications a plus
-Experience in developing and ensuring adherence to a common Cyber Security Framework such as NIST or ISO 270001
-Will have a background in a heavily regulated industry i.e. Insurance, Banking, Financial Services.
