Position: Senior Cybersecurity Engineer

Role Overview: As a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer, you will play a crucial role within the Cybersecurity Engineering and Red Team, ensuring the security of a large enterprise network. This position involves close collaboration with cross-functional technical teams and business stakeholders, acting as a security advisor and utilizing your expertise to ensure thorough analysis, design, configuration, and monitoring of the network and cloud environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and manage security measures and controls to protect systems, infrastructure, data, and security platforms.
• Lead the Data Security Program by engineering, deploying, configuring, and managing data security protection technologies and data classification.
• Serve as a security advisor for various ad-hoc security-related projects based on business and IT developments.
• Support security engineering efforts across various cybersecurity platforms, including SIEM, EDR, and Vulnerability Management.
• Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets.
• Evaluate and implement new security technologies, tools, and methodologies.

Required Qualifications:

• 5 years of experience in security engineering within a dynamic and fast-paced large enterprise environment.
• Proficiency in deploying, configuring, and managing a wide range of security solutions and platforms, such as DLP, CASB, SIEM, EDR, Firewalls, IDS/IPS, or MDM.
• Experience collaborating with software development teams to support DevSecOps initiatives, including code scanning, secrets scanning, or code reviews.
• Strong engineering, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively to identify and resolve issues.
• A strong desire to learn new technologies and advance as an engineer and security professional.
• Commitment to continuous improvement, security process engineering, and operational excellence.
• Deep understanding of cybersecurity principles, best practices, and emerging trends.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Technical experience with Microsoft cloud security technologies such as Microsoft Purview, Microsoft 365 Defender, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and Cloud, and Microsoft Sentinel.
• Experience designing, configuring, and maintaining web application firewalls (WAF) and networking technologies.
• Security engineering experience with common cybersecurity platforms and solutions, including SIEM, EDR, and Vulnerability Management.
• Strong understanding of the DevSecOps pipeline and related security components, such as SAST, DAST, SCA.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and PowerShell.
• Microsoft Azure certifications such as Microsoft Azure SC-100, SC-200, or SC-300.
• Cybersecurity certifications such as Security , CySA , SSCP, ISSEP, or ISSAP.
