This role primarily involves handling tasks related to accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance, as well as aiding in the month-end close process. The position is within the telecom provider industry and will offer the opportunity to utilize and improve upon a range of skills.Responsibilities: • Handling accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) tasks, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and timely. • Conducting bank reconciliations to ensure all financial data aligns and there are no discrepancies. • Maintaining the general ledger, ensuring the accuracy of all entries and data. • Assisting with the month-end close process, ensuring all financial data is accounted for and discrepancies are resolved. • Utilizing various software including NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP to manage financial data and perform accounting tasks. • Preparing journal entries and ensuring all entries are accurate and up-to-date.• Collaborating with other team members to ensure all financial operations are running smoothly. • Resolving accounting discrepancies and irregularities. • Assisting with other accounting tasks as needed.
