Robert Half is recruiting for a prominent Albuquerque Manufacture for a Sr. FP&A/Cost Analyst who will manage financial planning, forecasting, and cost accounting. The role requires a proactive problem solver who can improve efficiency and drive strategic actions. Should have strong communication skills to advise senior management.

Key Responsibilities:
• Master the FP&A process, including forecasting and reporting tools, quarter-end process, and strategic planning
• Assist in ad hoc reporting and maintain tools for financial metric dissemination
• Manage reporting, forecasting, and analysis of manufacturing cost sections of the P&L and balance sheet. Prepare relevant journal entries for month-end close
• Conduct cost management ensuring accurate product cost and inventory information
• Support manufacturing operations by monitoring, reviewing, and analyzing daily activities
• Review and update standards against current cost roll-ups • Analyze Bill of Materials (BOM) costing accuracy
• Perform make-buy analyses for parts/assemblies • Support inventory optimization initiatives and lead annual physical inventory count
• Lead commercial analysis and reporting of Sales/Orders/Backlog
• Balance Sheet reconciliations
Ideal candidate will have:
• Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and communication
• Self-motivated, proactive, and strong GAAP and accounting knowledge
• Ability to streamline complex processes, advanced financial modeling
• Bachelor’s in accounting or finance
• Experience with ERP, Advanced Excel; Power BI and JDE preferred
• 4 years of FP&A/Accounting experience; cost accounting preferred
• 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
