Description
Robert Half is partnering with a globally recognized streaming platform in search of a talented Senior UX Designer to join their team in Santa Monica, CA. This role is perfect for a problem-solving, customer-obsessed design leader who is passionate about creating innovative, user-centered experiences. The Senior UX Designer will be instrumental in shaping the future vision of how customers connect with content and products. This role involves crafting immersive advertising strategies that resonate with a global audience, transforming traditional ads into engaging storytelling moments that seamlessly integrate with the viewing experience. The successful candidate will lead by example, driving innovation and elevating the entire UX team.
Duration: 12-month contract
Location: Culver City, CA or Seattle, WA (hybrid-onsite)
Pay Rate: $70-75/hour
Hours: 40 hours/week
Key Responsibilities:

• Define and execute the vision for innovative advertising and shopping experiences across the streaming platform.
• Collaborate with various design verticals to standardize design systems and visual languages, ensuring consistency across the platform.
• Analyze customer needs through user research and design solutions that not only meet those needs but also achieve measurable business goals.
• Partner closely with product and business teams to develop and align on a shared vision, leading the process of defining and designing experiences that fulfill that vision.
• Work with technology teams to leverage the platform's scale without compromising on core experience principles.
• Present design work to stakeholders and executive leadership for feedback, iteration, and approval.
• Measure the success and effectiveness of UX innovations, continuously refining the approach based on customer feedback and data.

Requirements

• Advanced degree in interactive or user design preferred
• Over 10 years of experience in UX design, particularly within agile environments.
• Expertise in designing for 'living room' devices, ensuring a seamless and engaging user experience.
• Strong visual design and art direction skills.
• Proficiency with Figma and a deep understanding of UX design processes.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities, including mentoring and inspiring UX teams.
