Job Description
Robert Half Marketing & Creative is looking for a freelance Social Media Specialist for one of our clients in Charlotte, NC. Our client is looking for a local candidate to help support their social media needs for 20-25 hours a week!
This position is 100% remote.
Our company is seeking a Senior Local Social Media Specialist for a 6-month contract to oversee and enhance our social media presence within the United States. In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating, executing, and optimizing social media strategies on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok, and YouTube. You will work remotely, collaborating with a local team and an external content creator to ensure that our content is tailored to the US market.
- Social Media Management: Evaluate and execute social media strategies for Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok, YouTube, and kid-friendly platforms, with a focus on organic posts.
- Local-Specific Posts: Develop 5-8 local-specific posts each month to engage with the target audience effectively.
- Content Curation: Collaborate with an external content creator to ensure the creation of relevant and engaging content, without the need for specific design skills.
- Scheduling: Utilize Implify for scheduling social media posts and managing the content calendar.
- Analytics: Monitor and analyze social media metrics, providing recommendations and suggestions for optimization, especially in paid social advertising.
- Opportunity Assessment: Proactively identify opportunities for engagement and growth within the local market.
- Product Integration: Utilize our product for creating engaging social media posts.
- On-Site Collaboration: Occasionally visit the office as needed, but the role primarily operates remotely.
- 3-5 years of experience in social media management.
- Proficiency in social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok, and YouTube.
- Strong analytical skills for metric analysis and optimization.
- Self-motivated and able to work remotely efficiently.
- Keen eye for identifying opportunities for social media growth.
- Understanding of the US social media landscape.
- Ability to collaborate with external content creators.
- Must be local to the United States.
