Responsibilities
- Handle month-end close procedures, journal entries, and general ledger maintenance.
- Ownership and reconciliation of the balance sheet, including fixed assets, receivables, prepaids, and liabilities.
- Aid and support the audit process, liaising with auditors to provide necessary financial documents and explanations.
- Improve and institutionalize accounting processes to ensure all procedures are compliant and codified.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to fully integrate Paylocity from an IT perspective.
- Bring best in class practices for NetSuite system optimization.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA or CMA/CIA/CISA certification desired but not required.
- Extensive experience in general ledger accounting.
- Proven experience with evaluating business processes and building better, efficient, and sustainable business process improvements.
- Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to provide strong analytics for the balance sheet and P& L fluctuations.
- Strong experience with NetSuite and Epic; knowledge in interfacing Paylocity with NetSuite is highly desirable.
- Experience in healthcare industry is a plus but not required.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work on-site in Wyoming for initial training before transitioning to a remote capacity.
