Responsibilities
- Create and maintain journal entries
- Assist with month-end closing procedures
- Conduct balance sheet & account reconciliations
- Administer real and personal property taxes as well as sales & use tax
- Maintain fixed assets & commissions
- Perform monthly Profit and Loss (P& L) analysis
- Must have a minimum of 2-4 years of experience in a similar role as a Sr. Accountant.
- Proficiency in account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, and bank reconciliations is mandatory.
- Experience with general ledger management and journal entries is required.
- Must demonstrate advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
- Must be able to handle month-end close procedures efficiently.
- A professional certification such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or CMA (Certified Management Accountant) is preferred.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving capabilities are essential.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
- Must have the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Familiarity with financial regulations and accounting principles.
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field is required. A Master's degree or equivalent is preferred.
