We are seeking a Senior Accountant for a small family office in Delray Beach! We have been in business for over 25 years and has created a pleasant work environment for their staff. The Senior Accountant will give direction to the Bookkeeper and provide full cycle accounting for the array of businesses that the organization have, across Real Estate, retail and other industries.We pride ourselves in providing a work life balance and are seeking an employee who is looking for their next long term role. The day to day will include:• Oversee the preparation of financial reports, ensuring all data is accurate and up-to-date.• Handle account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, and bank account reconciliation tasks.• Handle all accounts receivable for income-producing properties.• Manage the process of buying, rezoning, and reselling land.• Deal with the bank on a regular basis, managing a high volume of activity including ACH/Wires.• Oversee the budgeting and forecasting process, providing strategic financial input and leadership on decision-making issues affecting the organization.• Handle credit card reconciliation and wire transfers.• Work closely with other team members to achieve organizational goals.• Process and examine financial data and use this information to generate financial reports.• Ensure that all financial information complies with regulations and laws.
