Robert Half Management Resources is recruiting for a strong Sr. Accountant to support our client, a leading company in the fitness and yoga industry, on a 3–4-month remote project who can assist with period-end closing and provide day to day support to the finance and accounting team. This position reports directly to the CFO and offers the opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and growing organization.Responsibilities:Assist with period-end closing processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting by such as, bank and account reconciliations, financial statement preparation, and journal entriesCollaborate with the accounting team on various tasks including inventory accounting, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.Provide support to the CFO in supervising the accounting team and overseeing day-to-day operations.Work closely with management to analyze financial data and provide insights for decision-making.Maintain compliance with accounting principles and company policies.Support the CFO in transitioning into controller duties and supervising the accounting team effectively.
