We are offering an opportunity for a Sr. Accountant to join our team in the Health Pharm/Biotech industry, based in Plantation, Florida. The role involves various functions such as account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, and bank reconciliations in a dynamic work environment. Responsibilities:• Perform account reconciliation to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.• Conduct balance sheet reconciliations.• Carry out bank reconciliations regularly to ensure accuracy.• Manage general ledger and assist with month end close procedures.• Document and monitor internal controls in support of auditing team.• Coordinate more complex accounting projects and initiatives with other members of the accounting and finance team or with other departments.• Utilize accounting IT system (SAP) to facilitate processes and maintain records.• Assist in the production of financial statements and applications, preparation of spreadsheets, reports, and correspondence as required.• Plan, organize and execute financial tasks and projects of varying complexity.• Ensure compliance with all internal processes.
