Robert Half is Hiring a Sr. Accountant Near Portland, OR
Responsibilities
- Review and process international accounting entries, particularly those pertaining to payroll
- Maintain and reconcile balance sheets and bank accounts
- Oversee general ledger and make necessary journal entries
- Utilize Microsoft Excel for data management and reporting
- Ensure efficient month-end close procedures
- Leverage knowledge of NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP for various accounting tasks
- Perform account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance
- Assist the team as needed, providing necessary support and expertise
- Uphold a high level of professionalism and attention to detail in all tasks
- Keep abreast of industry trends and changes to accounting rules and regulations.
- Must hold a bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in an accounting role
- Proficiency in account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, and bank reconciliations
- Demonstrated experience with general ledger and journal entries
- Strong skills in Microsoft Excel
- Experience in month end close processes
- Knowledge of NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP software
- Must have excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Advanced problem-solving skills and ability to handle complex accounting tasks
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is preferred but not mandatory.
