Responsibilities
- Conducting detailed account reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations
- Managing bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Maintaining and updating the general ledger on a regular basis
- Producing regular reports on financial status and transactions
- Preparing and making journal entries as required
- Utilizing Microsoft Excel for data analysis and financial tracking
- Conducting month-end close processes in a timely and accurate manner
- Utilizing QuickBooks for financial management and reporting
- Identifying and resolving any discrepancies in financial data
- Collaborating with other team members to optimize accounting procedures.
- Must have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Sr. Accountant, preferably in a similar industry
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks is essential
- Demonstrable knowledge of general ledger functions
- Hands-on experience with account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, and bank reconciliations
- Proficient in preparing journal entries and month-end close procedures
- Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines
- Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity
- Knowledge of GAAP and other accounting principles
