Responsibilities
- Carry out account reconciliation tasks meticulously, ensuring all accounts are balanced and discrepancies are promptly addressed.
- Conduct balance sheet reconciliation, reviewing all entries for accuracy.
- Execute bank reconciliations, comparing our internal records with bank statements to identify any irregularities.
- Maintain the general ledger, ensuring all information is up-to-date and accurate.
- Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring each entry is coded correctly.
- Utilize Microsoft Excel to create spreadsheets, analyze data, and present financial information.
- Oversee month-end close processes, verifying all financial data before finalizing.
- Utilize NetSuite for various accounting tasks and data management.
- Operate Oracle for data entry, retrieval, and management.
- Use SAP for managing business operations and customer relations.
- Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
- Proven experience in a similar role such as Accountant or Financial Analyst.
- Proficient in Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, and Bank Reconciliations.
- Strong knowledge of General Ledger maintenance and Journal Entries recording.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting.
- Experience in Month End Close procedures and reporting.
- Familiarity with financial software such as NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity.
