We are on the lookout for a proficient Interim Sr. Accountant to join our client in Waukesha, Wisconsin. This role offers a short-term contract employment opportunity in the manufacturing industry. As a Sr. Accountant, your main function will be to handle various accounting tasks such as inventory analysis and audits, reconciliations, depreciation, month-end close processes, and S& U tax reporting.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the process of inventory posting and review, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
• Conduct daily reviews of received but not invoiced items, addressing any discrepancies promptly
• Undertake plant-related tasks including inventory, shipping/receiving, and production reporting
• Manage reconciliations of inventory accounts, maintaining accurate records
• Handle pre-paid and depreciation tasks, ensuring compliance with accounting standards
• Carry out month-end close processes, ensuring all financial data is accurate and up to date
• Conduct thorough inventory audits, identifying and resolving any discrepancies
• Ensure S& U tax reporting is completed in a timely and accurate manner
• Possesses a minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior accounting roleFull Time
