Responsibilities
- Review daily financial reports and enter daily bank transactions into the general ledger.
- Review the trial balance and financial statements, including the balance sheet, income statement, and cash flows.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and review accounts to resolve any issues.
- Manage accounts payable and process monthly expense reports.
- Assist in maintaining an orderly accounting filing system, focusing on reconciliations and journal entries.
- Maintain adherence to federal, state, and local legal requirements by staying updated, filing reports, and advising management on necessary actions.
- Maintain prepaids, rents, and depreciation schedules by tracking fixed assets.
- Process Payroll.
- Must hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in an accounting role
- Proficiency in Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, and Bank Reconciliations
- Thorough knowledge of General Ledger management and Journal Entries
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential
- Experience in Month End Close procedures is required
- Knowledge and experience in using Quickbooks Online is preferred
- Experience in Payroll management is necessary
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to handle confidential information
- Must have a high level of attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be authorized to work in the country of employment.
