DescriptionWe are in the hunt for a Cloud Engineer to join our team in the legal industry, based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The chosen candidate will play a crucial role in designing, architecting, and implementing cloud-based solutions and services. This role also involves collaboration with data engineers and data scientists to optimize data pipelines and workflows, as well as providing mentorship to engineering teams. Responsibilities
Design, architect, and implement cloud-based solutions, services, and technologies
Assist in the design and development of data warehouse solutions to support large-scale data processing and analytics
Collaborate with data engineers and data scientists to design and optimize data pipelines and workflows
Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools using modern programming languages such as Python
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering teams on best practices for cloud architecture, data engineering, and software development
Stay abreast of emerging cloud technologies, trends, and best practices and evaluate their potential impact
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness of cloud infrastructure and services
Contribute to the development and maintenance of documentation, standards, and guidelines for cloud architecture and data management
Utilize skills in Amazon EC2, Ansible, Atlassian Jira, Cloud Technologies, EO/IR systems, AB Testing, Automation, AWS Technologies, Configuration Management, Continuous Integration (CI) to perform tasks efficiently and effectively.
Requirements
Proficiency in Amazon EC2 and AWS Technologies.
Demonstrated experience with Ansible and Atlassian Jira.
Familiarity with Cloud Technologies, specifically in a legal industry context.
Understanding of EO/IR systems.
Experience with AB Testing and Automation.
Proven skills in Configuration Management.
Knowledge of Continuous Integration (CI) principles and practices.
Ability to work in a team, communicate effectively, and adapt to new situations.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Prior experience in a similar role would be advantageous.
Must possess excellent problem-solving skills.
Strong project management and organizational skills.
