Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Fixed Asset Accountant to join our finance team. This role is critical in managing our fixed assets, ensuring compliance with GAAP, and providing accurate financial reporting. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and proficient in Excel. Key Responsibilities
Manage and maintain the fixed asset ledger, ensuring accurate recording and depreciation in compliance with GAAP.
Conduct regular reviews and audits of fixed assets for accuracy and completeness.
Coordinate with departments to track asset acquisitions, transfers, and dispositions.
Prepare detailed financial reports and analyses related to fixed assets.
Assist in preparing quarterly and annual financial statements.
Support budget and forecasting processes with fixed asset data.
Ensure compliance with internal controls and corporate policies.
Participate in system implementations and upgrades related to fixed asset accounting.
Provide guidance and training to junior accountants and team members.
Collaborate with auditors during internal and external audits.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
5 years of experience in fixed asset accounting, preferably in a large company.
Solid understanding of GAAP.
Strong financial reporting skills with attention to detail.
Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is desirable.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
CPA certification or progress towards CPA.
Experience with fixed asset management software.
Ability to streamline and improve accounting processes.
