Robert Half is looking for a Senior Payroll Specialist for our client in Sugar Land, Texas. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing payroll processing for a large number of employees across multiple states, primarily Texas and Oklahoma. The role requires proficiency in the ADP Workforce Now platform andThis is a 100% onsite positionPay is DOE - up to $30/hr during the contract periodResponsibilities:Administer semi-monthly payroll using ADP Workforce Now for up to 5000 employees Process payroll entries, adjustments, deductions, and taxes accurately and in a timely manner.Manage time and attendance system and work closely with HR team and managers to ensure accurate and timely data.Ensure all pay, benefits and deductions are set up correctly in the payroll system.Reconcile payroll data and resolve any discrepancies.Prepare payroll related journal entries and complete GL account reconciliations.Prepare and file all legally required reports for audits concerning payroll.Understand proper taxation of employer paid benefits.Create custom reports and provide payroll information to management as needed.Support track and trend payroll metrics for leadership dashboard.
