This role primarily focuses on maintaining and updating accounting records, reviewing and processing expense reports, and assisting with tax-related tasks. As a key member of our team, you will play an integral part in ensuring our financial processes are up to date and accurate.Responsibilities:• Maintain and update accounting records, ensuring all data is accurate and timely.• Review and process expense reports, adhering to company policies and procedures.• Assist with tax-related tasks, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.• Post transactions and categorize records in the general ledger, including assets, liabilities, and expenses.• Reconcile bank statements, identifying and addressing any discrepancies.• Analyze transactions, providing insights to help guide financial decision-making.• Assist with month-end and year-end closings, ensuring all financial reports are accurate and delivered on time.• Prepare documents and schedules for audits, working closely with auditors to provide necessary information.• Assist with revenue and expense accruals, ensuring accurate financial reporting.• Apply new accounting policies and ensure compliance with rules and regulations.• Assist in improving financial processes and controls, contributing to the efficiency and effectiveness of our finance department.
