- Ensure total supplier performance aligning with business objectives in cost reduction, working capital, delivery, quality, and technology collaboration.
- Drive material cost reduction activities that support the business gross margin requirements and savings expectations.
- Establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and manage supplier performance improvement based on these metrics.
- Promote continuous improvement of systems, processes, and tools to meet objectives.
- Negotiate supplier contracts ensuring supply security and competitive value.
- Foster the use and application of Lean Manufacturing/Six Sigma continuous improvement tools as part of the culture.
- Collaborate with leadership team members in executing initiatives and projects to implement the strategic business plan.
- Lead efforts to ensure dual sources of supply and minimize overall risk.
- Work with corporate Commodity Managers to leverage spend.
- Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with employees and suppliers.
- Utilize ERP Solutions, Microsoft Excel, About Time for efficient operation and management.
