Olivia Quinlan is hiring for a Systems Administrator based in Niagara Falls, New York. The role involves managing and maintaining an IBM iSeries system, specifically requiring PowerHA experience. Responsibilities:• Oversee the administration of IBM iSeries systems and ensure their efficient operation.• Handle the configuration management of our systems, including the deployment of updates and patches.• Must be able to demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office.• Experience in AS400 Security Management, Communications, Operating System Upgrades and PTF deployment, Independent Auxiliary Storage Pools (iASP's), and Storage Based Replication• Knowledge of PowerHA is extremely helpful and will help to determine salary • Leverage EO/IR systems, Backup Technologies, and Computer Hardware skills to support the organization's technological infrastructure.• Regularly monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.• Coordinate with other IT professionals to efficiently resolve system-related issues.• Ensure the secure and efficient operation of IBM AS/400 and IBM San systems.• Develop and maintain system documentation, including configuration and design details.• Conduct regular system audits to ensure the proper functioning of deployed systems.• Participate in the development and implementation of IT strategies and procedures.
