A growing CPA firm based in Burbank is seeking a Tax Accountant to join their team. This person will be tasked with serving their diverse client base in matters of tax preparation and research. Responsibilities:
- Prepare federal and multi-state tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, trusts and exempt organizations
- Perform tax research
- Resolve tax notices from IRS or other tax authorities
- Assist in federal, state and local tax audits
- Analyze and review financial statements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (CPA or CPA candidates are preferred)
- Minimum 3 years tax preparation and accounting experience
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products
- Strong accounting and analytical skills
- Detail oriented and ability to multi-task
- Proficient with accounting/bookkeeping software including Lacerte and QuickBooks
