POSITION SUMMARY
Our client is looking for an individual to support individual & small business clients with accounting and tax services. This role requires someone who is proactive, observant, knowledgeable and reliable.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare tax returns for individuals and small businesses
- Assist with tax planning
- Bookkeeping for clients including data entry, account reconciliations, adjusting entries, and prepared financial statements
- Assist clients with payroll setup and processing
- Communicate with clients via phone, email, and in-person/video meetings
- Research technical tax issues
- Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- Experience with UltraTax and QuickBooks Online
- Two years of experience in income tax preparation
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong technical, analytical and organizational skills
- High attention to detail
