Responsibilities:
- Oversee the creation of consolidated Federal income tax returns.
- Lead the preparation of State and Local income and franchise tax returns.
- Supervise the tax provision process, including ASC 740 reporting and accurate tax balance calculations.
- Stay abreast of SEC Tax reporting updates, execute tax & accounting research regarding technical challenges.
- Oversee the creation of Federal, state, and local tax filings
- Enhance utilization of tax compliance and software’s.
- Develop and enforce improvements to existing compliance processes.
- Contribute to the company's tax strategic planning with creative solutions.
- Maintain strong SOX controls and protocols over tax accounting matters.
- Provide support on diverse projects as needed.
- 10 years corporate tax ex.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, desirable advanced degree (Tax) and CPA certification.
- Considerable experience with ASC 740.
