This role presents an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual with a strong background in user experience design.Location: Seattle, WA (hybrid onsite 3 days/week)Duration: 11-month contractPay Rate: $45-50/hourResponsibilities:Quickly yet thoroughly create process flows, wireframes, and visual design mockups to effectively communicate interaction behaviors.Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define business and feature requirements based on empirical data, usability findings, and market research.Assess and optimize the performance of new and existing features through usability testing and analytics interpretation.Present design work to the user experience team, product team, and executive stakeholders for feedback.Contribute to user interface design best practices and standards.Provide leadership in ecommerce trends, web application design, and user interface innovations.Bring 3-6 years of industry experience in providing interaction design solutions for web and/or software applications.Hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in design, human-computer interaction (HCI), or equivalent professional experience.Demonstrate fluency in best practices for web-based information architecture and design, as well as a strong knowledge of usability principles and techniques.Showcase proficiency in a variety of design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and Dreamweaver.
