This position will provide reporting and forecasting support to the Business, technical and operational accounting, as well as provide accounting guidance for revenue recognition and reporting matters pertaining to customer contract arrangements. The successful candidate will also lead or support special projects including M& A activity, transformation, process improvement initiatives, system implementations and developing processes to account for new revenue contracts. This will be a highly visible role and will have tremendous opportunity to work with a diverse set of finance and non-finance stakeholders, including exposure to accounting and finance executive leadership.Your Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate closely with key business partners, for example, Product Finance, Legal, Coverage, Run Rate, Tax, and Billing to deliver critical business initiatives and identify value opportunitiesPresent accounting recommendations to finance executive managementChampion in building and enhancing financial and management reporting and analysisDrive insights and guidance to support revenue transactions for optimal economics on rapidly evolving and growing products offerings and launchesDevelop and execute upon a transformative vision to drive business and process optimization through simplification of upstream processes, collaborating with cross-functionalDrive accountability by ensuring high quality technical and operational monitoring, analysis, and continuous improvement of enforcement and KPIsLead, influence, and mentor team members with responsibility of the accuracy and completeness of revenue recognition in accordance with US GAAP to achieve expected outcomesOversee aspects of revenue accounting and reporting, which includes execution of monthly revenue close, variance analysis, and reporting related to customer contracts, providing guidance on revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606Drive transformation in the revenue accounting processes to improve clarity, efficiency, and scale for growthManage operations of internal controls, policies and procedures related to revenue recognition, monthly close and reporting processesOther responsibilities include but are not limited to participate in special projects, system implementations, enhancements and ad hoc analysis
