Responsibilities
- Purchase non-inventoried (install / shop materials) for jobs from suppliers
- Find sources for needed items / expedite if needed
- Add new parts and pricing to inventory system
- Liaison between vendors and customers
- Maintain minimum stock levels on shelves
- Shipping and receiving
- Warehouse inventory
- Reorder shipping supplies (labels, boxes, bubble wrap)
- General warehouse organization
- Answer Phones
- Create sales orders
- Comprehensive understanding and practical experience with 3M systems
- Familiarity with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning and ERP Solutions
- Knowledge of IBM AS/, CRM, and About Time software
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Experience in manufacturing industry
- Ability to handle materials and understand materials handling processes
- Proficiency in managing office functions
- Ability to work collaboratively with other departments and teams
- Proven track record in managing purchasing functions in a busy environment.
