RTJ golf club is an upscale private club located in Gainesville, Virginia. We are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic person to join our lively, fun, fast paced team-oriented environment. This individual will be responsible for the set-up and breakdown of all spaces and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of any dining room, banquet room, hallway, storage and service areas. Valet/Houseman will report to the Clubhouse Manager for all responsibilities and tasks. Must have a flexible schedule and ability to work evenings and weekends. Compensation will be based on the level of experience.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

· Greet members

· Park vehicles

· Unload/load golf bags, luggage--assist with bags to rooms

· Set-up and breakdown all event spaces

· Ability to lift to 40 pounds

· Arranges tables, buffets, dance floors, stages, projector screens, etc.

· Good attention to details with the ability and willingness to learn different types of room set-up

· Must be self-sufficient and team oriented

· Must have a flexible schedule

· Good communication and ability to follow directions with direct manager and various other managers

· Perform any other duties requested by the manager – report to Clubhouse manager daily

· Organization and cleanliness of all banquet spaces, rooms, hallways and service areas

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 30 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
