What You'll DoAs a Financial Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining existing reporting structures while also building new analyses from scratch. You will leverage IT systems such as SAP and Navision to maximise their capabilities. Your ability to work independently as well as part of a team will be crucial in this role. You will have the opportunity to work closely with cross-functional teams, gathering data to develop forecasts and budgets with a focus on sales, cost of goods, inventory, and marketing materials. Your analytical skills will be put to good use as you conduct financial analysis and reporting to support business operations and decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop forecasts and budgets focusing on sales, cost of goods, inventory, and marketing materials.
- Conduct financial analysis and reporting to support business operations and decision-making.
- Monitor the progress of monthly orders and sales, analyse inventory and receivables levels.
- Prepare monthly reporting for management and investors.
- Assist in the development and implementation of financial processes and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably within the beauty industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work with complex data sets.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with SAP business by design (BYD) or Navision is a plus.
- Willingness and ability to learn new systems and technologies quickly.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
