Our client is seeking a dedicated Senior Associate for their Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the development, enhancement, and implementation of ESG programs for these clients. This position provides a unique chance to contribute to the firm's high standard of consulting while working collaboratively with all members of the ESG team. As a Senior Associate in Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG), you will be at the forefront of managing and delivering our client's high-standard consulting services. You will assist in managing multiple client deliverables, supporting the team to meet deadlines, and overseeing junior members on collaborative projects. Your role will involve developing customised ESG questionnaires based on each client's unique investment strategy. You will also independently draft policy documents and conduct due diligence reviews for potential investments. Furthermore, you will prepare insightful training materials for clients to enhance their understanding of their ESG program.
Assist the ESG Team in managing multiple client deliverables on an ongoing basis
Support the ESG Team to meet client deadlines and manage client communications
Oversee junior members of the ESG Team when working on collaborative projects
Support the development and management of each client’s ESG programs
Independently draft ESG policy and procedures documents
Develop customized ESG questionnaires and data collection tools based on each client’s unique investment strategy
Manage, organize and complete ESG due diligence reviews for client’s potential investments
Prepare ESG-related training materials for clients focusing on specific aspects of their ESG program
What You Bring
Undergraduate degree; focus on business and/or sustainability is preferred
Working knowledge or background in the investment industry
Acute interest in sustainability and responsible investment
Working knowledge of common ESG-related regulatory requirements is preferred
Strong working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Proven ability to consolidate, manage, and visually present data using MS Excel
Proficiency in technical and professional writing
Comfort with public speaking and attending networking events
