- Build a personalized platform to help customers discover relevant features and products across in-app, push, and email communication channels
- Drive technical direction of projects while mentoring and up-leveling junior engineers
- Design large-scale systems, making the right tradeoffs for risk and long-term maintainability
- Lead organization-wide collaboration across multiple initiatives
- Build new products and features from conception to launch/production
- 10 years of expertise designing, building, and scaling distributed systems and high-volume transaction applications
- Expertise in architecting and designing large scale notifications systems for delivering push, email, and other forms of communications.
- Experience working on a Growth team is a plus.
- Experience building recommendation systems, Ads, or search is a plus
- Experience setting technical strategy for a team and leading end-to-end execution across teams and functions
- Experience providing technical leadership to 5 or more engineers and up-leveling the operational excellence of the team.
