As we continue to grow and expand our services across multiple locations, we are seeking a seasoned Vice President of Operations to join our dynamic team.

Position Summary: The General Manager will play a critical role in steering the daily operations of the company across its various locations. This executive position is designed for a leader who excels in operational management and can drive efficiency and growth. Reporting directly to the CEO, the General Manager will oversee the Plumbing and HVAC department heads, as well as the business and office managers, ensuring seamless operations and exceptional service delivery. This person will eventually be based in Eldridge, Iowa with satellite offices in Galesburg and other areas within an hour of the Quad Cities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage daily operations across multiple locations, ensuring operational excellence and efficiency.
• Direct supervision of Plumbing and HVAC department heads, Business Manager, and Office Manager, fostering a culture of accountability and high performance.
• Oversee financial management, including P&L responsibilities, to ensure the financial health and growth of the company.
• Implement strategic operational processes and improvements to enhance productivity and customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with senior management to align operational activities with the company’s strategic goals.
• Drive the adoption and effective use of technology within operations, including Service Titan for operational management and EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) for business management.
• Manage vendor and contractor relationships, ensuring quality standards are met and maintained.
• Lead by example, promoting a positive work culture that attracts and retains top talent.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years of operational management experience, mechanical services is a plus.
• Proven track record of managing P&L and driving operational efficiency and growth.
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and motivate a diverse team.
• Experience with Service Titan and EOS is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with all levels of the organization and external stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a strategic mindset.
• Ability to travel to various locations as needed.
