As an IT Workplace Services Professional you continuously evaluate and improve the employee experience through subject matter expertise in the digital workplace, focusing on efficiency, employee satisfaction and ensuring business continuity. Your key responsibilities:
The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of California is $52,700 to 128,300. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.

Your key responsibilities:
- You will act as a digital enabler for our business colleagues & functions
- You act as the owner of the digital employee experience for the respective site
- You drive employee productivity through consultancy, provide intimacy and site proximity at the sites, and ensure a personalized Roche employee experience
- You leverage available data (e.g.: Nexthink, SNOW) for proactive support
- You support and manage the Incident/ Request management processes to ensure SLA's are met and drive continuous improvement through trend analysis
- You manage IT hardware lifecycle management & deskside support processes/managed services for the site, You partner with with our internal and external service providers
- You provide support & guidance for onsite services (e.g. events and meetings) by leveraging from internal and external providers. Drive the user experience and promote best practice.
- You drive and enable standard workplace infrastructure, global/local projects and deployments in collaboration with product teams. You proactively address and follow through on process-improvement ideas
- You support & drive budgeting process related to the respective site
- You support local audit, inspection and certification requirements, You support local Business Continuity and IT Disaster Recovery planning activities
- Exhibit a Lean-Agile Mindset
- Manage risks progressively and in a way that leads to opportunity
- Enterprise mindset that can break down silos. Focus on delivery through collaboration, and bringing people together to work towards the same purpose across organizational boundaries
- Exhibit intellectual curiosity and integrity and has a strong passion for innovation
- Understanding of Roche-supported (Windows, Mac, iOS) operating systems, devices and applications, including the Google Suite of Applications, MS Office, etc
- Experience with ticketing systems and troubleshooting hardware, software and mobile devices
- Ability and willingness to work in a flexible environment, and extended hours or modified schedule to support planned activities or emergency situations
- High school diploma and 5 years’ experience working in a desk side environment supporting multiple hardware platforms, mobile devices and tablets or equivalent work experience
- Excellent working knowledge of the ITIL v3 processes in an IT service delivery
- Solid written and oral communication skills in English
- ITIL Foundations certification
