Your Opportunity

As an Equipment & Laboratory Support Technician, you will be able to perform tasks in the aseptic environment. Also, in this role, you are:

• Organizing, conducting, and monitoring laboratory compliance activity. You are responsible for CTU alarm response and resolution, and ensuring compliant laboratory practices.
• Participating in routine lab maintenance, lab safety, ISO and QSR implementation.
• Monitoring lab supply inventory, generating expense purchase requisitions, inputting production data, and other work-output data into the appropriate database, and maintaining documentation in accordance with established procedures.
• Maintaining asset inductions, general change requests, and equipment records within the Regulatory Asset Management System.
• Proper response to temperature alarms, facilitating the move of product when needed with the area.
• Assisting in the areas of equipment compliance and calibration.
• Is part of a customer service team, which provides support with equipment compliance, acquiring new equipment and transfer of equipment throughout the site.
• Managing schedules, and workload. Establishing priorities using inputs from business requirements, SAP, and/or internal customer needs.
• Establishing internal/cross-functional/customer relationships.
• Implementing process improvement principles. Represents the area in project-based activities to support departmental and site goals.
• Oversees and manages vendor services/repairs for equipment in support of manufacturing and testing groups throughout the site.

You should wear personal protective equipment, such as eye, foot, lab coat, mask, gowning coveralls

Who you are

• You hold an Associate's Degree less than 1 year of general laboratory experience as minimally required
• If you bring basic GMP knowledge that is preferred
• Bringing an equivalent combination of education and work experience is accepted

Behaviors, competencies and qualities of the ideal candidate

• Demonstrates ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Directions for Testing (DFT) documents.
• Demonstrates competence in reading and completing charts, forms, and other documents.
• Ability to use personal computer with basic word-processing and spreadsheet applications.
• Good written and verbal communication skills highly desirable
