Join an experienced and collaborative team of dedicated Global Medical Affairs Leaders in Clinical Development and Medical Affairs (CDMA) at Roche Diagnostics. Work with Personalized Healthcare Solutions lifecycle teams on the development and commercialization of companion diagnostics, oncology assays and future digital pathology solutions. The Opportunity:

• Provide medical and scientific expertise in oncology tissue diagnostics and leadership in developing Global Medical Plans, addressing questions and executing medical activities and engagements like advisory boards, integrated evidence generation, independent or sponsored medical education, testing access and medical launch readiness programs
• Build strong partnerships with medical and patient communities including global thought leaders, investigators, academic networks and professional societies, as well as pharma partners to drive safe adoption of medical value solutions while ensuring operational excellence and compliance with industry regulations and HCP interaction guidelines
• Develop content for timely and effective communication of science and clinical data within and outside the organization in training or educational programs, publications and congress presentations
• Champion patient and customer-centricity in mindset, behaviors and actions by always putting the needs of the patients and customers first.
• Partner across functions, regions, cultures, and time zones to create an environment of belonging and identify mutual value and opportunities for collaborations
• Work independently and autonomously, act as coach for colleagues with less experience

Who you are

• You have expertise and an advanced degree in Medical Sciences (MD and/or PhD) in Pathology or Oncology.
• You have 8 years of relevant industry experience in medical affairs or development.
• You are proactive and self-directed with a proven track record of leading in a global and cross-cultural matrix, strategic decision making, systems thinking, and adaptability to perform in a complex and rapidly evolving environment.
• You have a deep understanding of legal and regulatory considerations impacting the healthcare, biopharma and diagnostics industry
• You have excellent English oral and written communication skills
• You are willing to travel up to 20% domestically or internationally.

Relocation benefits may be available for this position. Level can be adjusted based on experience and qualifications.
The expected salary range for this position is based on the primary location of Tucson, AZ is: 140,200-260,400 . Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
