Rock Hill School District is Hiring a Music Teacher Near Rock Hill, SC

Minimum QualificationsHighly qualified and SC certified in Music Education
Experience Teaching Music At The Elementary School Level PreferredKnowledge of effective instructional techniques for music students
Knowledge and understanding of elementary school students and their needs
Ability to work effectively with parents, students, and fellow teachers
Effective communication skills
Good public relations skills
Strong GPA in relevant course work
Outstanding references from current/former supervisors
Satisfactory SLED (SC Law Enforcement Division) report
Salary Range: Teacher Salary Schedule
Length of Contract: 190 days
Starting Date: 2024-2025 School Year
College transcripts, three references, and a copy of appropriate credentials should also be submitted during the application process.
Prior to employment, the District will request a criminal record history check for past action of crimes. For this reason, information about date of birth, gender, and race is requested as a part of the application process.
