**Overview:** We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Catheterization Lab team. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment at a Level II Trauma Center. **Responsibilities:** - Provide direct patient care in the Cath Lab setting - Assist with procedures such as catheterizations, angioplasties, and stent placements - Monitor patients pre and post-procedure - Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members for optimal patient outcomes - Perform specimen collection processing and ensure accurate documentation - Conduct discharge planning and patient education **Skills:** - Experience in acute care, particularly in an Inpatient setting - Proficiency in handling pediatric patients - Knowledge of ICD-9 coding and documentation practices - Ability to dialyze patients when necessary - Competence in laboratory procedures and specimen processing - Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient care Joining our team offers the opportunity to work in a challenging yet rewarding environment where you can make a difference in the lives of patients.
