Rock Medical Group is Hiring a Registered Nurse, Labor and Delivery Near Abilene, TX

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Labor and Delivery Nurse to join our team at a reputable teaching hospital. The ideal candidate will have a passion for maternal health and providing exceptional care to expectant mothers during labor and delivery.

Responsibilities
- Provide care and support to women during labor and childbirth
- Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs
- Assist with pain management techniques, including administering medications as needed
- Educate patients on newborn care and breastfeeding
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure the well-being of both mother and baby
- Participate in discharge planning and provide postpartum support

Experience
- Prior experience in labor and delivery nursing is preferred
- Proficiency in occupational health, catheterization, acute pain management, inhalation therapy
- Familiarity with physiology, medical terminology, infection control, and ophthalmology is a plus
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Job Types: Travel nursing, Contract

Pay: $2,250.00 per week
