We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Traffic Engineer to join our growing transportation team. In this crucial role, you will play a leadership role in developing and implementing innovative solutions to improve traffic flow, safety, and mobility in our vibrant community.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of traffic engineers and technicians on various transportation projects.
• Conduct comprehensive traffic studies, analyze data, and identify key traffic flow issues and safety concerns.
• Design and implement effective traffic management strategies, including signal timing optimization, signage plans, and pavement markings.
• Prepare detailed traffic impact assessments (TIAs) for development projects, ensuring compliance with local and state regulations.
• Collaborate with government agencies, planners, and other engineers on a wide range of transportation projects.
• Oversee traffic control operations during construction projects, ensuring minimal disruption and safety for pedestrians and motorists.
• Stay abreast of the latest traffic engineering technologies and best practices, continuously seeking innovative solutions.
• Prepare engineering reports, presentations, and technical documents to clearly communicate findings and recommendations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in the state of [State] required
