Rock Solid Shredding is an Arkansas owned and operated on-site shredding provider with locations in Little Rock and Fayetteville. Due to rapid growth in the Northwest Arkansas market, we are actively seeking a motivated and experienced professional to join our Fayetteville team as a Customer Service Representative (CSR).

About the Role:

Customer Service Reps play an integral role in our company. Primary responsibilities include:

• Driving and operating shred trucks (large commercial vehicles with integrated shredding equipment)
• Providing friendly and professional face-to-face customer service (commercial, government, and residential)
• Securely handling and shredding sensitive information (both paper documents and hard drive/e-media)
• Making real-time routing and service decisions while in the field
• Coordinating with team members

Important things to note:

• This is a labor-intensive position that requires frequent walking and lifting of heavy objects.
• While a Commercial Driver License (CDL) is not required for this position, CDL experience is valued. Other routing/commercial driving experience is also valued.
• Because CSRs regularly operate shred trucks and handle sensitive information, this role is subject to pre- and post-employment background checks and drug screenings.
• We service customers across the entire state of Arkansas and into bordering states such as Missouri and Oklahoma, which means a significant portion of a CSR's time is spent behind the wheel and in the field.
• We primarily operate from Monday through Friday, but occasional help on Saturdays during the spring and fall seasons may be required for our Community Shred Events.

Rock Solid Shredding is a locally and family owned company that provides secure, on-site shredding services, hard drive destruction services, and document scanning services to businesses, government agencies, and individuals across the state of Arkansas and beyond. Rock Solid Shredding was founded in Little Rock, AR in 2012. In January 2022, the company was acquired by Jeff and Christy Ward, both longstanding residents of Central Arkansas. Jeff holds over two decades of experience in the shredding industry, much of which he spent as the co-owner and manager of one of the largest shredding franchises in the nation (which is now a competitor!). Shortly after his franchise transitioned to a corporate structure, Jeff took a brief hiatus from the shredding industry and eventually returned in 2022 with the acquisition of Rock Solid Shredding. The same principles that guided Jeff and his team at his previous role—integrity, service, professionalism, and community—now act as the compass for Rock Solid Shredding. In August of 2023, Rock Solid Shredding added a second office in Fayetteville, Arkansas, to better serve the Northwest Arkansas community.
