Position Overview:The role offers an empowering opportunity for a growth-minded candidate to become a valuable member of a growing team with significant visibility within the organization and exposure to senior leadership. The successful candidate will have a meaningful role in scaling the Portfolio Management team at Rockbridge and will function in an open, flexible culture with the ability to shape your future.
The Portfolio Manager will be responsible for the prospective financial stewardship of a portfolio of 10-20 hotel investments. The role involves significant cross-collaboration with other Rockbridge teams and provides in-depth exposure to acquisitions, financings, asset management, dispositions, risk management, and capital markets. Candidates should possess strong analytical capabilities, organizational skills, and the ability to think like an owner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Oversight – Serve as the CFO of their portfolio by monitoring and providing analytical support for all financial aspects of an investment, including forecasting, valuation, liquidity management, debt compliance, and reporting to leadership and investors.
- Real Estate & Operating Company Modeling - Develop and maintain complex financial models to steward the investments and facilitate good decision making.
- Optimize Returns & Mitigate Risk - Provide analytical and model support for value-add and risk mitigation initiatives.
- Creative Thinking - Support Rockbridge’s goal of continuous improvement by identifying and executing on opportunities for process and technological improvements.
- Entrepreneurial individual with strong work ethic and high level of intellectual capacity, curiosity, and integrity
- Advanced excel skills and financial modeling experience
- 4 - 7 years of real estate / hospitality and/or private equity fund experience preferred
- 4-year college degree
- Flexible and adept at managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-sensitive environment
- Strong analytical ability and attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently on projects and also collaborate ‘face to face’ as a team player
Additionally, Rockbridge has raised more than $7 million for cancer research through Pelotonia and RTRX since 2011 and is a long-time supporter of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Ohio’s and one of their largest fundraisers.
