Job Summary
This position will provide technical support to clerk office staff, the public, and outside users of the clerk’s application system(s). This position is lead support for desktop hardware, desktop applications, peripherals, audiovisual equipment, networking infrastructure Tier 1 troubleshooting, clerk social media, and website management and configuration. This position also provides secondary support to develop custom application reports and assist in application configuration, technical documentation, and assessments.
Essential Functions

Performs hardware installation, configuration, support, troubleshooting, and repairs on personal computers and peripherals.
Assist with issues related to the telephone system, network, operating systems, and general software support.
Conducts analysis and determines technical issues to resolve the issue or coordinate with the appropriate vendor or the County’s Technical Services division.
Lead maintenance of the Clerk’s website which may include coordination with vendors for specialized services, enhanced development, security, and backup/recovery.
Update and maintain social media platforms at the direction of management.
Assist with ensuring all daily production work is complete (file extracts, updates, backups, etc.)
Assist with the evaluation of hardware refresh, software upgrades, and planning of these events.
Assist with the evaluation of technology products and purchases.
Manage technology issue tickets and provide regular reports to management regarding the number of tickets, trends, and recommendations for additional technical training.
Assist with the maintenance of security-related software and response to threat incidents.
Assist with user training on court technology.
Provide support to the public as they use technology within the clerk’s office.
Maintain asset and inventory records related to court technology.
Assist with the update of the knowledge base.
Assist with purchasing, shipping, and receiving technology hardware, supplies, and software licenses.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge of network, wiring, and communications infrastructure.
Knowledge of website management.
Knowledge of various social media platforms.
Strong organization and time management skills.
Strong interpersonal/customer service skills, detail-oriented, and able to coordinate and manage multiple tasks.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to prepare effective technical reports and recommendations.
Ability to perform in a dynamic work environment.
Ability to work non-traditional hours as needed.
Ability to sit, stand, bend, crouch, stoop, and kneel, to occasionally lift light and heavy objects (weighing up to 50 lbs.), and to use tools requiring a high degree of dexterity to perform various job tasks.
Working Conditions
The work is typically performed in an office located in the court facility.
Minimum Qualifications
Associate's degree in management information systems or related field.
Two (2) years of experience in related technical experience as described
Or a combination of education, training, and experience that is equivalent to requirements in 1 and 2, so long as it provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job.
Preferences
Technical Certifications such as A , Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE), and Microsoft SQL Certification (SQL).
Computer-related project management experience in a court or legal environment
Bilingual (English/Spanish).
