• Provides support and assistance in executing Agency's overall External Communications strategy, including assistance with content development, branding and marketing needs, assistance with email marketing and layout, social media posts, website updates, brochures and collateral, and list management
• Works in close partnership with Senior Director of External Communications to execute communications plans and deliver stories and projects that are accurate, on time, on message, and on deadline, ensuring timely review and approvals of stakeholders
• Responsible for Keenager News, published six times a year, which includes overseeing content, production, reader relations and coordinating and editing content of contributing columnists, researching and drafting stories, and ensuring timely review and approval of content that is relevant to the health and well-being of the 80,000 readership
• Collaborates and coordinates with freelance writers, photographers, and graphic designers to ensure accurate stories and inviting layout of the 8- to 16-page Keenager publication and other regular pieces
• Completes tasks as needed related to External Communications responsibilities including monitoring and responding to emails; answering calls; maintaining accurate constituent records; maintaining story bank and photo bank and releases, managing contact lists, and other tasks
• Produces "Voice of Charity" Program/Podcast with the Senior Director of Communications and program hosts. Responsibilities include generating weekly program ideas, researching topics, writing scripts/interview questions, coordinating logistics and scheduling

Education and Experience Requirements:
Relevant Education:
Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Journalism or Marketing
Minimum: Bachelor's Degree in Communications, English or Journalism
Relevant Experience:
Preferred: 4-6 years
Minimum: 2 years
Qualifications Skills:
Preferred: Experience in MS Office Programs, and working knowledge of InDesign and Adobe Creative Suite; working knowledge of Agency history and mission
